LEARN FROM THE BEST: CHANTAL WITTMANN

Chantal has over 30 years of teaching experience within the hospitality sector. Over the years, she has coached students for competitions and taught a range of subjects.
She boasts a number of impressive credentials, most notably in 2011 when Chantal won the coveted Meilleur Ouvrier de France. The accolade has been won by some of the world’s finest hospitality workers, and Chantal’s victory enabled her to participate in a range of events, including the Chateau Gourmand festival in Kerkroadez. In 2012, Chantal participated in the Master’s of Food and Wine at the Park Hyatt in Shanghai from 21 to 24 November.
Chantal’s specialties lie in practical teaching, having worked as an educational tutor, student coach, Associate Professor and a jury member of various competitions. She also specializes in floral art, responsible for Glion’s floral decoration in the school, for the restaurant and for special events.
Prior to joining Glion, Chantal had a range of academic roles, working as a Professor at both E.N.N.A Paris Antony Sud and School Aristide-Briand. She also has considerable hospitality experience, working for Hilton International Strasbourg, Hostelliere St Barnabe in Murbach and Lycee A. Dumas in Illkirch.
Chantal joined Glion Institute of Higher Education in 2017.
